1 Situation
La Maison de Mimi is 10 km far from the Opera of Lyon together with being in a semi rural area - sheep, cows, chicken, orchards, organic culture. Walks toward the roman aqueducts - 85 km long from Lyon to Gier river in the south west. >>>

The landscape from the hill shows Lyon and suburbs, Mont Blanc, Monts du Lyonnais and first hills of Beaujolais area. The house is in the corner of a 1000 m2 orchard, far from busy roads.

2 Access
Several busses in the day, a train station down the hill. Easy to find access by car. Plan.

3 History
La Maison de Mimi is a centuries old farm building that we renewed with ancient techniques - lime, clay, etc..
The local earth building technique is called " pisé ". It makes houses that are cool in summer. We use both modern and wood heating.

4 Comfort

Upstairs room :
25 m2, facing south.
Bed is 160 x 190 cms.
A third person may stay.
Shower + lavabo in the room, private WC next door.

Closed parking yard.

Fresh drinks and kettle in family kitchen.

On demand : Broadband Internet access, TV/video, music.
